Meet the Team

Claire was a dental nurse for 14 years and has worked in NHS, private dental practices, and at the dental hospital - her favourite days included assisting in oral surgery.

She previously worked as a dual site practice manager for 2 years before coming to us and she absolutely loves it! Come and say hi when you pop in she always loves a chat!

Outside of work, Claire has a playful pony and Bella the dog. Claire has played the flute since she was a little girl and has kept up the hobby.

Donna qualified in 2013 and has since completed the implant dental nurse qualification. Donna’s job involves ensuring that all audits, stock etc is well maintained and helping keep the nurses happy! Donna’s favourite treatments are extractions and crown preps. Outside of work Donna enjoys going out for food and drinks, spending time with her husband and two daughters and loves shopping!

Lottie started dental nursing in January 2019 after finishing her A Levels and qualified with a level 3 diploma in dental nursing in October 2020. Her role of treatment coordinating involves assisting patients throughout their treatment with any additional questions or support to ensure everybody has a smooth experience with us.
She has an additional qualification in implant dental nursing and you can see her often working with Sanjiv in implant procedures.
Lottie's hobbies outside of work are playing her flute, rock climbing, yoga, playing video games, visiting theme parks and spending time with family and friends.

Shannon joined us in January 2024 as a receptionist and we're excited to have her with us! She has been in customer service for nearly 10 years but this is her first time in a dental practice.

In her spare time Shannon enjoys playing her guitar, playing Fortnite, spending time with her family and her house rabbits!

She is a big people person so make sure you say hi when you next visit us!

It's Sophies first time working in a dental practice however has lots of receptionist and customer service experience having previously worked in retail and hotels.

She is also a qualified Nursery nurse and a teaching assistant!

Outside of work Sophie enjoys baking, gardening, building Lego (especially Disney!), national trust walks and shopping!

Janice has been a dental nurse since the age of 16 with a break in between and joined us here at Kingfisher in 2007. She has completed the fluoride application, impression taking, implant nursing (you can often see her working with Sanjiv for these), radiography and oral health education courses, as she loves improving her skills and enjoys being able to do duties such as taking X-rays and impressions that involve the extra training. Her hobbies outside of work are gardening and crafts.

Wendy Qualified in 2001, recently had a few years out of dentistry as a full-time carer for her dad and returned to nursing in 2024.
Her favourite treatments to nurse for are extractions and surgical treatment, she is especially looking forward to taking part in an implant procedure!
Wendy has a dog called Nelly and they enjoy their long walks together, she also looks after the grandkids and enjoys spending time with her family.

Tasha qualified as a dental nurse in 2021! She has since completed the fluoride application course and implant nursing course.

You can often see her working with Sanjiv during an implant procedure.

She also runs her own dental nurse page on Instagram to inspire new nurses joining the profession and support for qualified nurses. The learning never stops in dentistry!

Her favourite things outside of work are spending time with her family, pets and all things Disney!

Sophie started as an apprentice dental nurse in August 2024 after doing science and art at college, her favourite place to work is with the hygienist and she enjoys crowns and bridges.

Outside of work Sophie has a talent in art and music and enjoys being creative. She likes gaming, meeting new people and being social, horror movies and has a dog and a parrot!

Meg joined the practice in November 2024. She has worked in healthcare for around 5 years as a healthcare assistant in care homes, she was looking for a change of scenery and has started as a dental nurse. So far she has enjoyed nursing for fillings and extractions and is looking forward to starting her dental nursing course in the new year. Outside of work Meg enjoys spending time with the dog 'Ollie' and guinea pig 'Biscuit', going to the gym and likes listening to music.

Amelie joined the practice in August 2024 to start her dental nursing apprenticeship! She finished her GCSE's in 2023 and went on to do 'Hair and Media Makeup' at college and was ready for a new challenge this year!

Outside of work, Amelie likes shopping, going on walks, travelling, listening to music and spending time with family and friends!
